Keke Napep or tricycle is any means of transportation that has three wheels, while two of the wheels are at the back, one is in the front of the cycle.

It is the most popular means of street transportation in the developing countries of Africa, most especially Nigeria.

Keke Napep has become the peoples’ favourite means of local transportation in Nigeria due to the fact that it provides some level of stability, which was seriously lacking in motorcycles, otherwise known as Okada in Nigeria.

Just like Okada, Keke Napep can easily go through places that a normal car or bus can only dream of going to.

However, even when Keke Napep does not lay claim to being the safest means of local transportation in Nigeria, its safety level is still way better than that which was provided by Okada.
